Erosion by gravity involves the pull of gravity on rocks, dirt and other natural materials, creating a collapsing landform. This is seen through numerous names, such as an avalanche, a mudslide, or a rockfall. In the picture on the left, it documents an area where mud and rocks have collapsed due to gravity, leaving behind a ruined zone.
